2. Welche Daten wir verarbeiten
Konto: E-Mail-Adresse, Benutzername, Passwort (nur verschlüsselt gespeichert), optional Profilbild, deine Spracheinstellung. Meldest du dich mit Apple oder Google an, erhalten wir nur die Daten, die du dort freigibst.
Training: absolvierte Flows mit Datum und Dauer, dein Wochenplan, deine Ziele und Statistiken.
Community: Likes, gespeicherte Flows, Trainer, denen du folgst, Freundschaften und angeschaute Flows (Grundlage der Trainer-Vergütung).
Trainer: Trainer-Profil, Nachweise (z. B. Lizenzen) sowie hochgeladene Videos, Fotos und Flows.
Push-Mitteilungen: ein Geräte-Token, wenn du Mitteilungen erlaubst.
Nutzungsstatistik: welche Bildschirme und Funktionen genutzt werden, verknüpft mit einer pseudonymen Kennung (Zufalls-ID oder Konto-ID), ohne Name und E-Mail-Adresse.
Technische Daten: IP-Adresse beim Verbindungsaufbau, Geräte- und App-Version.
Meldungen und Blockierungen: Meldest du einen Flow oder ein Profil, speichern wir, was du gemeldet hast, den Grund, deinen optionalen Hinweis (höchstens 500 Zeichen) und dass die Meldung von dir kommt. Blockierst du jemanden, speichern wir, wen du blockiert hast.
Kamera, Fotos, Kalender: Die App greift nur darauf zu, wenn du es erlaubst und die Funktion nutzt. Termine trägt die App nur in den Kalender auf deinem Gerät ein. Sie liest deinen Kalender nicht und überträgt davon nichts an uns.
Apple Health und Health Connect (Training erkennen): Wenn du in den Einstellungen „Training erkennen“ einschaltest, liest die App aus Apple Health (iPhone) bzw. Health Connect (Android) ausschließlich deine Trainings: Art des Trainings, Beginn und Ende. Andere Gesundheitsdaten liest die App nicht, und sie schreibt nichts in Apple Health oder Health Connect. Zweck ist allein, dich nach einem Training mit einer Mitteilung auf deinem Gerät an deine Recovery zu erinnern. Die Trainingsdaten werden nur auf deinem Gerät verarbeitet und dort höchstens bis zum Ende des folgenden Tages zwischengespeichert. Sie werden nicht an uns oder an Dritte übermittelt, nicht für Werbung genutzt und nicht in iCloud gespeichert. Für unsere Nutzungsstatistik erfassen wir nur, ob die Funktion eingeschaltet ist und wann eine solche Erinnerung geöffnet wurde, ohne Angaben zum Training. Du kannst die Funktion jederzeit in der App unter Einstellungen › Erinnerungen › Training erkennen ausschalten; den Zugriff entziehst du in der Health-App (Teilen › Apps) bzw. in Health Connect.
3. Zwecke und Rechtsgrundlagen
— Bereitstellung der App, deines Kontos, der Community- und Trainer-Funktionen sowie die Vergütung der Trainer: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO
— Push-Mitteilungen: deine Einwilligung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO), jederzeit in den Einstellungen deines Geräts widerrufbar
— Nutzungsstatistik und Fehleranalyse, um die App zu verbessern, sowie Schutz vor Missbrauch: berechtigtes Interesse (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO)
— Prüfen von Meldungen, Entfernen unzulässiger Inhalte und Blockieren: berechtigtes Interesse an einer sicheren Community (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO) und gesetzliche Pflichten für Online-Plattformen (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO)

Supabase: Datenbank, Anmeldung und Dateien, Server in Frankfurt (EU)

Die Dienstleister verarbeiten Daten nur in unserem Auftrag. Werden Daten in die USA übermittelt, geschieht das auf Grundlage des EU-US Data Privacy Framework oder von Standardvertragsklauseln. Wir verkaufen keine Daten und zeigen keine Werbung.
5. Sprachansagen mit KI-Stimme
Die Sprachansagen sind mit KI erzeugt und bilden die Stimme von Armin Gacanovic nach, mit seiner Einwilligung. Erzeugt wurden sie vorab mit dem KI-Modell Qwen3-TTS auf unserem eigenen Computer, nicht über einen Online-Dienst. Die App spielt fertige Tondateien ab, die mit der App ausgeliefert werden. Dabei übermittelt sie keine Daten an einen KI-Dienst, und deine Daten fließen nicht in die Stimme ein.
6. Was andere Nutzer sehen
Benutzername, Profilbild und veröffentlichte Flows, bei Trainern auch das Trainer-Profil. Deine E-Mail-Adresse sieht niemand. Meldungen sieht nur das Recovery-Hero-Team. Wer gemeldet oder blockiert wurde, erfährt von uns nicht, von wem.
7. Speicherdauer und Konto löschen
Wir speichern deine Daten, solange dein Konto besteht. Du kannst dein Konto jederzeit selbst löschen: Einstellungen, dann „Konto löschen“. Dabei werden dein Profil, deine Trainingsdaten, Likes, gespeicherten Flows und Follows sowie, falls vorhanden, dein Trainer-Profil, deine Nachweise und deine veröffentlichten Flows samt Videos sofort und unwiderruflich gelöscht. Ohne App geht das per E-Mail, siehe recoveryhero.app/delete-account.
Aufrufe, die du bei Flows anderer Trainer ausgelöst hast, bleiben ohne Bezug zu deiner Person für deren Abrechnung erhalten. Meldungen, die du abgeschickt hast, bleiben als Nachweis für die Bearbeitung erhalten, aber ohne Verbindung zu deinem Konto. Deine Blockierungen werden mit dem Konto gelöscht. Reste in Sicherungskopien werden spätestens nach 30 Tagen gelöscht.
8. Deine Rechte
Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch sowie auf Widerruf erteilter Einwilligungen. Schreib dazu an team@recoveryhero.app. Außerdem kannst du dich bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde beschweren, z. B. bei der Berliner Beauftragten für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
9. Mindestalter
Recovery Hero richtet sich an Personen ab 16 Jahren.
10. Änderungen
Wenn sich die App oder die eingesetzten Dienste ändern, passen wir diese Erklärung an. Das Datum oben zeigt den aktuellen Stand.

2. Data we process
Account: email address, username, password (stored only in encrypted form), optional profile photo, your language setting. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we only receive the data you share there.
Training: completed flows with date and duration, your weekly plan, your goals and statistics.
Community: likes, saved flows, trainers you follow, friends and flows you watched (the basis for paying trainers).
Trainers: trainer profile, credentials (e.g. licences) and uploaded videos, photos and flows.
Push notifications: a device token if you allow notifications.
Usage statistics: which screens and features are used, linked to a pseudonymous identifier (random ID or account ID), without name or email address.
Technical data: IP address when connecting, device and app version.
Reports and blocks: if you report a flow or a profile, we store what you reported, the reason, your optional note (up to 500 characters) and that the report came from you. If you block someone, we store whom you blocked.
Camera, photos, calendar: the app only accesses these if you allow it and use the feature. The app only adds events to the calendar on your device. It does not read your calendar and sends nothing from it to us.
Apple Health and Health Connect (detect workouts): if you turn on “Detect workouts” in the settings, the app reads only your workouts from Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android): workout type, start and end. The app does not read any other health data and does not write anything to Apple Health or Health Connect. The sole purpose is to remind you of your recovery with a notification on your device after a workout. The workout data is processed only on your device and cached there until the end of the following day at the latest. It is not transmitted to us or to third parties, not used for advertising and not stored in iCloud. For our usage statistics we only record whether the feature is turned on and when such a reminder was opened, without any details about the workout. You can turn the feature off at any time in the app under Settings › Reminders › Detect workouts; you revoke access in the Health app (Sharing › Apps) or in Health Connect.
3. Purposes and legal bases
— Providing the app, your account, the community and trainer features and paying trainers: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR
— Push notifications: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time in your device settings
— Usage statistics and error analysis to improve the app, and protection against abuse: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
— Reviewing reports, removing content that breaks our rules and blocking: legitimate interest in a safe community (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and legal obligations for online platforms (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
4. Service providers
Supabase: database, sign-in and files, servers in Frankfurt (EU)
Bunny.net (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia): storing and streaming videos
PostHog: usage statistics, servers in the EU
Expo (650 Industries, USA): app updates and delivery of push notifications

These providers process data only on our behalf. Where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We do not sell data and we do not show ads.
5. Voice cues with an AI voice
The voice cues are generated with AI and recreate the voice of Armin Gacanovic, with his consent. They were generated in advance with the AI model Qwen3-TTS on our own computer, not via an online service. The app plays finished audio files that are delivered with the app. It does not send any data to an AI service while doing so, and your data is not used for the voice.
6. What other users see
Your username, profile photo and published flows, and for trainers the trainer profile. Nobody sees your email address. Only the Recovery Hero team sees reports. We never tell anyone who reported or blocked them.
7. Retention and deleting your account
We keep your data as long as your account exists. You can delete your account yourself at any time: Settings, then “Delete account”. This immediately and permanently deletes your profile, your training data, likes, saved flows and follows and, if you have them, your trainer profile, your documents and your published flows including videos. Without the app you can do this by email, see recoveryhero.app/delete-account.
Views you created on other trainers’ flows remain for their payouts, without any link to you. Reports you sent remain as a record of how they were handled, but without any link to your account. Your blocks are deleted together with your account. Remaining copies in backups are deleted after 30 days at the latest.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and to withdraw any consent you gave. Write to team@recoveryhero.app. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
9. Minimum age
Recovery Hero is intended for people aged 16 and over.
10. Changes
If the app or the services we use change, we update this policy. The date above shows the current version.
